Pastel Snowflakes | Pinkfresh Studio

Hello friends!

Today I am so excited to be sharing my first holiday card of 2020! I was eager to use a few goodies from the new Pinkfresh Studio September release and here is the result.

First, I created my background panel by heat setting the Diamond Tile cling rubber stamp with silver embossing powder. Then I set that aside to create my snowflakes! For this I used the new Layered Snowflakes die set. I selected a few of my favorites and die cut each along with their shadows. I then lightly ink blended each of the shadows with some of my favorite Pinkfresh Studio inks. The colors I used were: Coral Reef, Peach Fuzz, Lemon Whip, Mint, and Ocean Breeze.

Once the shadows were dry, I added a little sparkle by first coating them with spray adhesive then covering them with fine craft glitter in white. This added a little dimension and gave the look of frosty snow. Once all of my die cuts were dry, I used glue and foam adhesive to adhere them to my card base.

For my sentiment, I used the new Merry and Bright stamp and die set. I heat embossed the stamp with silver and die cut the shadow in white cardstock. I then used foam tape to adhere this to my card. To add a little more sparkle, I added a jewel to each of my snowflakes using Jewels Mix set, also by Pinkfresh Studio.

Finally, to complete my card, I used the Diagonal Stitched Rectangle die in white cardstock to cut my base and adhered my card using foam tape.

Hope you found some inspiration today. Thanks for stopping by!
