Floral Happy Mother's Day | Simon Says Stamp

Welcome, crafty friends!

Today, I am sharing a Mother’s Day card that I created for my Mama featuring the Mother’s Day Flowers die from the recent Simon Says Stamp All the Feels release! I absolutely adore this die (and release) and today’s card combines spring-colored flowers and gold glitter and is perfect for any Mom! Let’s get started!

To begin, I created a dotted background with the SSS Petal Plate wafer die then die cut the SSS Mother’s Day Flowers wafer die, twice in white and once in gold glitter cardstock, then stacked and adhered them to the center of the background.

Next, I die cut a few of the coordinating florals (included with the word die) in white and ink blended them with some of my favorite Distress oxide shades - Dried Marigold, Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers, Abandoned Coral, Picked Raspberry, Squeezed Lemonade and Wilted Violet - laying most of the color along the outside edges. I then die cut just the center of the flowers with the same gold glitter cardstock as before and adhered them to the center of each ink blended flower. For the foliage, I die cut a few of the SSS Detail Elm Leaves and ink blended along the edges with Distress Oxide Ink in Twisted Citron.

I adhered the flowers to the card, clustered at the top and cascading along the side, with foam squares and tucked the leaves behind the flowers, adhering them with liquid adhesive.

I hope you enjoyed this sweet and simple Mother’s Day card and are inspired to create one too! Below are links to all of the products that I used today. Thank you for stopping by, friends! Hope you have a wonderful week!
