Hello, friends!

I'm so excited to be taking part in Simon Says Stamp Hello Gorgeous Release Instagram Blog Hop! As mentioned in my previous post, I’ve been getting questions from crafty friends about the alcohol ink background I created, so today, I am sharing how I turned it into a bold 'miss you' card using a new die from Simon Says Stamp!

After creating the background with the colors linked below (affiliate), I splattered it with Dina Wakley’s Glossy Spray in white and once dry, I trimmed it down to an A2-sized panel. Next, I cut the Daisies and Leaves die six times in white cardstock, then stacked and adhered three layers together, making two clusters. I then die cut the Daisies and Leaves twice more, keeping all of the negative pieces to add behind each cluster of outline die cuts. Once complete, I adhered them to the panel, mirrored, with foam tape.

For the sentiment, I used the Simon Says Stamp ‘miss you’ word and outline die, cutting the outline once in white and the miss you text twice in glossy black cardstock and adhering it to the panel with foam tape. As a finishing touch, I added some clear embellishments and used a white gel pen to add a few more white splatters.

I hope you'll join us today and hop along for more inspiration and a chance to win a $25 gift card!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

♡ Dee
