Pinkfresh Studio December 2020 Stencil and Die Release Blog Hop

Happy Friday, friends!

Today we’re celebrating Pinkfresh Studio’s brand new stencil and die release with an inspiration-filled blog hop and awesome giveaways! This release consists of a mix of unique floral and scene building stencils as well as their coordinating dies. Let's get started on this card that I created using the new ‘Daisy Wreath’ layered stencil set and coordinating die! 

To begin, I created the wreath using heavyweight white cardstock and the 5 coordinating stencils. This step is super easy thanks to the user friendly stencils, which are clearly numbered and have centering guides. In fact, hardest part was choosing the colors! I decided to go with one of my favorite Pinkfresh Studio color combinations: Raspberry Bliss, Peach Fuzz, Stargazer, and Slumber. Once the wreath was colored and complete, I die cut it using the coordinating die.

Next, I created the background by die cutting the ‘Simply Diamonds’ panel and glueing it onto an A2 sized white cardstock base. For the frame, I die cut the ‘Stitched Scallop Rectangles' die once in white and once in gold glitter cardstock (I only used the inner part of the gold glitter frame, so you the outer part can be saved for a future card!) To complete the background, I adhered the scallop frames onto the base using foam tape. 

Next, I glued the wreath onto the background and to add a little more detail, I die cut the 'Foliage Frame' die in white and cut a few of the leaves and adhered them behind the wreath. 

To finish, I added embellishments from the ‘Essentials: Jewels Mix’ then die cut the 'Hugs' sentiment from the 'Thin Words Everyday Script' in gold cardstock and adhered it to the center of the wreath.
