Today is Day 2 of the Simon Says Stamp Hello Beautiful Blog Hop and I’m thrilled to share a new card featuring the Blooming Meadow stamp set - a beautiful stamp set that requires no coloring, only stamping! I’ll share more details, but first let’s talk giveaway! Today’s blog hop is filled with tons of inspiration and a giveaway to celebrate the new release! Hop along and comment for the chance to win a $25 gift code to Simon Says Stamp! A winner will be chosen from each stop, so make sure to leave plenty of comments. Giveaway details and the blog hop line-up can be found at the bottom of this post! Let’s get started!
I began with the base, cutting two pieces of white cardstock with the Stitched Rectangle dies followed by stamping and heat embossing the Circle Pattern cling stamp in gold onto one of the panels. I then die cut one of the embossed panels at an angle with the Scallop Stitches edger die to create the scalloped edge, then adhered it onto the solid panel with foam tape.
Next, I created the flowers using the Blooming Meadow stamp and coordinating dies. To do this, I first used my MISTI tool to stamp the outline in black onto white cardstock, then used the solid stamps to fill in the outlines with different shades of Simon Says Stamp ink (all colors listed in supply list below). I then die cut the flowers with their coordinating dies and adhered them to the panel using foam tape. To finish, I die cut a couple of leaves with the Tender Leaves dies then tucked them behind the flowers.
For the sentiment, I die cut the Small Hello die twice in white cardstock and once in gold glitter cardstock. I adhered them together, then onto the card base with liquid glue. For a finishing touch, I added clear embellishments onto the flowers.
I hope that you enjoyed today’s layered floral card! To see even more inspiration, and to share all of your own creations, check out the Simon Says Stamp Hello Beautiful gallery!

ReplyDeleteDear Dee - This is a beautiful creation! Complex because it's multi-layered and multi-technique, but no step in and of itself is difficult. Love the tiny gold circles background stamp and the colors you chose for the flowers. Love that this was a "no coloring" card. Sometimes you need that!
ReplyDeleteYou're so talented. TFSharing your gifts with all of us!
