COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI DAY 2 | REVERSE CONFETTI

Welcome back, friends!

Today is Day 2 of Countdown to Confetti, and I’m featuring 3 cards using 3 new sets! If you missed Day 1, be sure to check out my last post. Each day, one commenter from every blog will win a $15 gift certificate, so be sure to stop by each sneak peek blog post and leave a comment for a chance to win. Comments will close on March 7th at 12PM CST and winners will be announced on the Reverse Confetti Blog and Facebook on March 7th at 5PM CST. There's also a chance to win on the Reverse Confetti Facebook Page, so be sure to enter there, too. Now, let’s get started on today’s cards!

My first card features the You Confetti Cuts and Coordinates, as well as the Big Flower Cover Panel. I began by die cutting the cover panel in white, black, two shades of pink, and two shades of yellow. I adhered the white panel onto an A2-sized card base then inlayed the flowers from the negative pieces of the other colors. Next, I adhered a strips of colored cardstock onto a piece of paper then cut the You die. I also die cut the coordinating shadow die and small heart, both in black, and adhered all with liquid glue.

To finish the card, I heat embossed the ‘i’m so very proud of you’ coordinating stamp with white embossing powder onto black cardstock and adhered it with foam squares.

For the second card, I am featuring the Hope Confetti Cuts and Coordinates. I began by cutting a piece of heavyweight cardstock down to an A2-sized base then used the small O die to dry emboss the panel. I did this several times to create a random background pattern. Next, I die cut the small O die in yellow glitter cardstock and the HOPE die in ink blended rainbow and adhered them to the base with liquid glue.

I then heat embossed the ‘do not lose’ stamp in white onto navy blue cardstock and adhered it with foam squares. To finish, I mounted the card onto an A2-sized top folding card base.

For my last card of the day, I am featuring the Adorned Egg stamp set and coordinating dies. I started by creating the background with two of the cover panels — Big Flower and Along the Dotted Lines. I cut each in half and adhered each onto an A2-sized card base.

Next, I stamped the images with alcohol marker friendly ink, colored them in, then cut each one with its coordinating dies before adhering the images to the center of the panel.

For the sentiment, I heat embossed ‘Easter Blessings’ in white onto black cardstock and adhered it to onto the card.

I hope you enjoyed my cards for Day 2 of sneak peeks! Be sure to check out the rest of the blog hop for more sneak peeks and inspiration. Don't forget to comment along the way for a chance to win the giveaway. Oh and don’t forget to check back tomorrow for the final day of sneak peeks!

Have a great day, crafty friends!
