Today I’m sharing the Spellbinders May 2021 Large Die of the Month Club Kit and I must say, it is one of my absolute favorites of all time! If you already enjoy stitching, or have been wanting to try it out, then this kit is definitely for you! There are multiple dies included in this set that are perfect for not only cards, but for gifts and other crafty projects as well! Let’s get started!
To begin, I created an A2-sized panel with the largest frame die (I just love that this is included with each set!) then centered the dotted floral frame on the panel and die cut it. Now, onto the fun part - stitching! I selected a few of my favorite vibrant DMC embroidery floss colors and began stitching, working by color and securing each strand with double-sided adhesive. Once complete, I added flat-backed gold bobbles to the center of some of the flowers.
Next, I die cut another piece of white cardstock with the A2 frame die and placed it onto the center of my stamping tool. I first stamped then gold heat embossed the largest sentiment from this month’s Clear Stamp of the Month (another amazing value that can be used with the other kits!) before adhering the stitched panel on top with strips of foam adhesive. To complete the card, I mounted it onto a top-folding card base!
