July 2021 Large Die of the Month | Spellbinders

Hello, friends!

I’m excited to be sharing the July Large Die of the Month from Spellbinders! This month's ‘Mini Slimline Envelope & Nested Card Creator’ dies are super versatile and can be used for all sorts of mini slimline projects! I created this color-block birthday card using just a few of the 16 cutting dies that are included! Let’s get started!

To begin, I die cut the second largest rectangle die in white as a base. Next, I die cut the smallest scalloped rectangle die in shades of pink, orange, and yellow and adhered them onto a piece of copy paper, and die-cut that with the larger scalloped rectangle die. Once the color-block portion was created, I adhered it to the white base.

Next, I die cut the largest rectangle die in white then adhered the three layers in order. Once complete, I die cut the included ‘happy birthday’ die in white and die cut the shadow from the leftover color-blocked piece and adhered both to the background with foam adhesive.
