Hello and welcome, friends! The Waffle Flower Card Designer release is here, and we are celebrating with a fabulous blog hop with tons of inspiration and giveaways! Be sure to check out all of the details as well as the hop line-up at the bottom of this post for chances to win! Today, I am sharing a few cards today featuring new dies, stamp sets, and stencils from this release! This release is designed for all card makers - new and veteran makers that are looking for a nice variety that can be used over and over again!
My first card features the Oversized Miss die and stamp bundle, as well as the On the Edge Trio and Layered Flower dies. I used the Edge Trio die to create a border for the hexagon frame, ink blending it in green, then adhered to the flowers made with the Layered Flowers dies. For the Oversized Miss, I die cut the word from gold glitter cardstock and the shadow from white.
I ink blended the shadow using colors that coordinated with florals. I assembled them with foam adhesive and added extra foliage from other die-sets in my stash! Tip: These flowers are perfect if you want to create a simple or intricate design that can be used for any occasion! Don't be afraid to combine elements to create a unique design! I love stretching my supplies, especially dies. Rotate it, flip it, make it work for something brand new and fun that's unique to your style!
This next card features the same Oversized Miss die and stamp bundle that I die cut from gold cardstock, this time skipping the shadow and using scalloped oval instead. For the background, I cut the new Geometric Cover die from white cardstock and adhered it over top of the ink blended panel. To finish, I added an ink blended flower from the Layered Flowers dies set.
