April Large Die of the Month | Spellbinders

Welcome back, friends!

Today I am sharing two cards that I created using the Spellbinders April 2021 Large Die of the Month Club Kit! These kits are great and I had so much fun creating these cards, let’s get started!

First, we’ll go over the slimline card! To begin, I cut a piece of white cardstock down to a slimline size (3.25” x 8.5”) then die cut it with the lattice die and glued it to another piece of white slimline-sized cardstock. I then die cut the lattice again in pink, orange, and yellow and inlayed the negative pieces throughout the white lattice with liquid adhesive.

I cut another piece of white cardstock with the other two dies (dotted and scalloped lines) and gold embossed the Thank You stamp from the April Stamp of the Month, then glued it along the edge of the lattice. I die cut the flowers and leaves in coordinating colors, layered them, then adhered the florals with foam squares and leaves with liquid adhesive. To complete the card, I added some gold bobbles then mounted the card onto a slimline top-folding card base.

For the next card, I embossed an A2-sized white card base with the Spellbinders Plaid Company embossing folder. I then die cut another A2 piece of white cardstock with the dotted lines die and mounted it onto the embossed base with foam tape. For extra dimension, I added another strip by die cutting the scalloped line die and adhering it above the edge of the top panel. Next, I die cut the flowers and leaves with the same coordinating cardstock colors as before and glued them along the scalloped edge. For the sentiment, I die cut the hello die from the March Large Die of the Month Club Kit and adhered it to the card. To finish, I added gold bobbles then mounted the card onto a top-folding base.

I hope you enjoyed these cards and that you take a moment to check out this month’s club kits! They’re an excellent value and so versatile! Thank you so much for stopping by!
