It’s time for the Pinkfresh Studio July Stamp, Die, Stencil, and Hot Foil Release! To celebrate today’s amazing new release, we are having a blog hop filled with gorgeous inspiration and awesome giveaways! Hop lineup and all giveaway details can be found at the bottom of this post, so come hop along and enter to win along the way! My card today showcases the new English Garden layering stencil, that just so happens to coordinate with the previously released washi stamp set - one of my absolute favorites from Pinkfresh Studio! Let’s get started!
To begin, I stamped the English Garden stamp with Detail Black Ink then aligned the stencils (1 through 6, in order) and inked each section of each stencil in rainbow order (including the smaller florals, which I set aside to use for a different project.) I used the same color for each layer, just adding more ink with each step to intensify the shades. For the colors, I chose: Candy Apple, Bubble Gum, Apricot, Sunshine, Grassy Knoll, Seaside, and Soft Lilac. Once complete, I die cut the entire stamp with the coordinating die.
For the shaker portion, I first die cut the Radiating Background 2 die in white, then cut the Stitched Scallop Circle die 5 times (using only the smaller inner circle). I adhered an acetate circle to one of the Stitched Scallop Circle layers then adhered the remaining 4 layers behind it, creating a well for the sequin mix. I filled the center with sequins, adhered a scrap solid circle piece as backing, and adhered the colored English Garden wreath behind it. I then created multiple Leafy Branch die cuts, ink blended each with the same colors as before, and adhered them behind the wreath with foam adhesive squares.
For the background, I adhered the Radiating Background 2 die onto a white A2-sized card base, then adhered the circle shaker wreath to the center with liquid adhesive. I die cut the outer frame of the Stitched Scallop Rectangle die 3 times in white, adhered them together then onto the background in order to frame the radiating panel.
Next, I die cut the ‘h’ from Lea’s Ornate Lowercase die set and the ‘i’ from Heather’s Lowercase die set, once in white and once in silver glitter cardstock. I adhered the silver outline to the white, then adhered them to the center of the circle shaker. To tie in the center alpha dies, I added a few additional Leafy Branch cuts in silver glitter behind the wreath. For a sub sentiment, I heat embossed a sentiment from the Just a Hello stamp set (a gorgeous new stamp set from this release!) and adhered it to the shaker. As a finishing touch, I added some silver metallic pearls for a little extra sparkle!
