August 2021 Small Die of the Month | Spellbinders

Happy Monday, friends!

I hope that everyone is having a great start to their week! I’m back today to share the Spellbinders August Small Die of the Month! This month's "Hex Kaleidoscope Tile" small die set is perfect for making cards, decor, and more! For this card, I used a few of the included dies to create a clean and simple mini slimline design!

To begin, I cut a piece of white cardstock down to a mini slimline size (approximately 2.5” x 6”) then adhered a selection of 1/4” strips across the center, trimming off any excess. Next, I die cut the frame die in white and adhered it directly over the strips. For the intricately layered tile dies, I only die cut the top layer so that the strips would be visible underneath.

I chose a sentiment from the August Clear Stamp of the Month stamp set, stamped the center of one of the negative tiles and adhered it with foam squares. To finish, I adhered the panel into a top-folding mini slimline card base.
