COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI DAY 1 | REVERSE CONFETTI

Happy Sunday, friends!

Today is Day 1 of sneak peeks for the upcoming Reverse Confetti release! Mark your calendars for Wednesday, September 8th, for a fun Autumn and holiday (Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas) release! We’re celebrating this release with a blog hop and giveaways, so be sure to check out all of the details as well as the hop line-up at the bottom of this post! For today’s sneak peek, two fun and easy-to-recreate Halloween cards! Let’s get started!

For the first card, I created an alcohol ink background (you can find a quick tutorial video for this technique over on my YouTube channel) and paired it with the Boo layered dies, Boo Day stamp set, and Halloween Sentiments. I cut the Boo layered dies in glitter cardstock then adhered it to the background with foam squares.

Next, I stamped and heat embossed the ghost from the Boo Day stamp set, die cut it with the coordinating die, and die cut it once more in white to adhere behind the vellum. I then heat embossed a sentiment from the Halloween Sentiments stamp set, trimmed it, and adhered it to the background with foam tape. To finish, I mounted the panel onto an A2-sized card base.

My second card was created with the All Lined Up Cover Panel that I weaved with strips of cardstock and secured with double-sided tape. I then used the Boo Day stamp set and coordinating dies to stamp and cut out the ghost and spider web, which I then adhered to the background with foam tape.

For the sentiment, I heat embossed a sentiment from the same stamp and adhered it with foam adhesive. To finish, I added black embellishments and mounted the panel onto an A2-sized, top-folding card base!

Reverse Confetti will be giving away a $15 gift certificate to one Facebook commenter and one blog commenter. Comments will close on September 7th at 12 PM CST and winners will be announced on the Reverse Confetti Blog and Facebook on September 7th at 5 PM CST. There's also a chance to win on the Reverse Confetti Facebook Page, so be sure to enter there, too.

Be sure to check out the rest of the blog hop for more sneak peeks and inspiration. You can find the entire blog hop line-up at the bottom of this post. Don't forget to comment along the way for a chance to win the giveaway!

Oh, and don’t forget to check back tomorrow for more sneak peeks!

Have a great day, crafty friends!
