September 2021 Large Die of the Month | Spellbinders

Hello crafters!

As promised, I am back today to share the Spellbinders September Large Die of the Month! The adorable ‘Just a Tweet’ set consists of 34 cutting dies and is a great value - plus, it pairs perfectly with this month’s Small Die of the Month set! Let’s get started to see how I created this clean and simple card featuring these dies!

To begin, I cut a piece of white cardstock down to an A2-sized base then cut the stems and leaves and adhered them in place, adding a few extra leaves (overlapping) to add some dimension. Next, I die cut the bird pieces and adhered them together then over the stem with foam squares. I then die cut and adhered the flowers, adding gold metallic pearls to their centers. For the yellow flowers, I used the flower dies from this month's Small Die of the Month.

Next, I created a frame with two rectangle dies, adhered it with foam adhesive, then die cut ‘for you’ from the September Small Die of the Month and adhered it to the top. To finish, I mounted the panel onto an A2-sized, top-folding card base.
