Hello, friends!
The Reverse Confetti release is here and we are celebrating with a fabulous blog hop containing tons of inspiration! If you’ve been following along, you’ve seen some of the new items featured during the past 3 days of sneak peeks! This release (now shipping!) consists of 7 new stamp sets and 10 Confetti Cuts dies sets, and here I’ve chosen a few of my personal favorites to create a fun birthday card! Before I get started, I should mention that the blog hop line-up will be at the bottom of this post, so be sure to hop along to see all of the beautiful projects created to showcase this new release!
To begin, I die cut two panels of white cardstock with the new Along the Dotted Lines Cover Panel, then ink blended one with Distress Oxide inks in Mermaid Lagoon, Crack Pistachio, and Twisted Citron finishing it off with a few splatters of white paint.
Next, I stamped and colored the images with alcohol markers and die cut them using their coordinating dies then die cut the new YOU die in silver glitter cardstock and the shadow in white and adhered them together.
Once the panel was dry, I stamped and heat embossed ‘happy birthday to’ from the YOU Coordinates stamp set, and adhered the You below it. Next, I mounted the ink blended panel onto the white base with foam tape and used foam squares to add the colored images. To complete the card, I mounted it onto an A2-sized top folding card base and added few clear sequins.
