May Small Die of the Month | Spellbinders

Welcome, crafty friends!

I’m back today sharing the lovely new Spellbinders May Small Die of the Month! If you like having multiple die options to create background patterns for your projects (and who doesn’t?!) then this month’s set is perfect for you! Let’s get started!

For the first card, I die cut the intricate arch die from white cardstock and adhered it horizontally to the center of an A2-sized panel. I then picked out an assortment of cardstock in vibrant pastel colors and die cut flowers and leaves using the Mini Blooms and Sprigs set (making extras to use for the next card), adhering them along one side of the circle cutout. Next, I heat embossed a sentiment from the May Clear Stamp of the Month set, die cut it with the included circle die, and adhered it to the center of the circle cutout. To finish, I added rhinestones to the center of the flowers and mounted the card onto a top-folding card base.

For the second card, I die cut the intricate rectangular die six times, adhered them to a white panel (trimming off the excess), then adhered the colorful flowers and leaves along the bottom. Next, I heat embossed the sentiment (also from the May Clear Stamp of the Month) in gold, cut it down to a strip, and adhered it to the bottom of the card. To finish, I added some rhinestones to the center of the flowers and mounted the card onto a top-folding card base.
