December 2021 Small Die of the Month | Spellbinders

Hi friends!

I’m back to share the Spellbinders December Small Die of the Month! This month's small die set is gorgeous, and there’s so much you can mix and match with other dies in your stash! For my card today, I combined this month’s small dies with embossing folders for a simple and delicate floral design.

First, I cut multiple triangles (die from the June 2021 kit) in white cardstock, then embossed each one with Sun Rays and Plaid embossing folders. I adhered each one onto an A2-sized card panel, alternating them then trimming off the excess.

Next, I cut each floral in this month's kit with gold mirror cardstock, using only the outline. I then cut each one again with ink blended panels from my stash. I cut the base of each flower in white, then adhered to the gold outline, then inlayed each of the colored pieces. To finish, I added the gold leaves, stems, and the hello die-cut sentiment from the September 2021 kit.
